Embodied Yin… invites us to explore our multidimensional capacities for healing by listening and sensing with the whole body-mind. In Embodied Yin Yoga we create gentle (sometimes more dynamic) long held postures and somatics practices with an attitude of Maitri, loving kindness. The practices stimulate energy flow in meridians, energy channels, restore, rewire and replenish our nervous system.
Amber Jane… is a Holistic Health Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, and Yoga Teacher with over 30 years of human experience, driven by a passion for somatics, and creating experiential containers. Her intention is to empower individuals and communities with the transformative tools of Yoga and mindfulness, fostering improved health and wellbeing.
Amber's journey, fueled by a love of dance, sparked a deep curiosity in biomechanics and somatic movement. While pursuing a dance career, she discovered Yoga's philosophical principles provided a stable foundation for her. In 2014, a year-long training with Dr. Pooja Maddela solidified her foundation in Yoga philosophy and inspired her teaching path.
Since then, Amber has studied with influential Yoga teachers worldwide, operated her own New Zealand studio, and taught across diverse platforms. Currently, she integrates Yoga's philosophical principles into her role as a Holistic Health Practitioner, working both privately and within Primary Care.
